This Privacy Policy applies to the ApiTune application (hereinafter referred to as "Application") created by the "Service Provider" as an open-source service. This application is an open-source network proxy debugging tool with all source code publicly available on GitHub for you to freely view, audit, and verify. This service is provided "as is".
Information Collection and Use
As privacy-focused open-source software, this application only collects minimal information when necessary:
- User Rule Data: Only when you register and log in, we collect and store your proxy rule data to enable cross-device synchronization
- Basic Account Information: Including your email address (for account identification and necessary service notifications)
This application explicitly does NOT collect:
- Your network request content
- Your device location information
- Your personal identification information
- Your browsing history
- Your device information
Open Source Commitment
As open-source software:
- All source code is transparent and available for audit
- Contains no hidden tracking or data collection code
- You are free to inspect, modify, and compile the source code
- You can choose to deploy the server-side yourself
Third-Party Access
We do not share your information with any third parties. As a proxy debugging tool:
- All network request processing is done on your local device
- Your network requests are not forwarded to any third-party servers
- Your network request content is not logged or stored
Right to Opt-Out
You can stop data collection by:
- Logging out of your account
- Uninstalling the application
- Disabling the synchronization feature
Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider will retain user rule data for the duration of your use of the application. If you wish to delete your data, please contact us at [email protected], and we will process your request within a reasonable time.
Disclaimer
You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to loss of property, revenue, data, or other forms of intangible losses that may result from any of the following circumstances:
- If you violate this agreement or related service terms, we reserve the right to take measures including but not limited to interrupting usage permissions, stopping services, limiting usage, and legal pursuit based on the nature of your behavior. Additionally, we will assist in investigations as required by judicial authorities;
- If your violation of this agreement or related service terms causes damage to any third party, you shall bear sole responsibility;
- Service interruptions due to force majeure factors such as typhoons, earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, power outages, war, terrorist attacks, etc.;
- System service interruptions or delays due to hacker attacks, technical adjustments or failures by telecommunications departments, system maintenance, etc.;
- System service interruptions, terminations, or delays due to government orders, changes in laws and regulations, or orders and rulings from judicial and administrative authorities.
